***We are currently only doing glass fusing by appointment only. Please email to reserve a time and date for glass fusing.

Glass fusing is easy, creative and addictive! Try it yourself at our glass fusing center. Visit our Glass Fusing Gallery for inspiration.

How it Works

Glass Fusing is simply the process of stacking two or more layers of glass together to make a design, then placing the stacked glass in the kiln, where it melts together. Great for adults and kids, no experience is required and our glass fusing center can be quickly mastered!

Different Ways of Firing Your Glass

CONTOUR FUSING

The project will have slightly rounded, polished edges and a slightly textured surface where each design element remains distinctly raised above the base. Great project to place in a frame to hang on your wall.

FULL FUSING

The top layer of glass is completely merged into the bottom layer, creating a smooth surface and rounded edges. Ideal for trivets, bowls, or other decorative pieces.

SLUMPING

Once fused into a single unit (contour fused or full fused), the project can be returned to the kiln and slumped over a mold of your choice. This transforms the flat project into a functional or artistic three-dimensional piece, such as a bowl, vase, votive holder or plate/tray.
